Birthday celebration

Yesterday, I completely forgot to put the pictures on of Lue's birthday. Sometimes my brain really works. But not completely yesterday.

The pictures are self-explanatory and better late than never.

We had such a good time.

Nancy is home now. She came home yesterday afternoon with Evie. I talked with Dan last night and everything was okay. She was resting, so I didn't bother her. The first couple of days/weeks are so hectic. Dan's folks are coming in tomorrow and staying til Tuesday. I'll be coming in that Thursday and staying til Monday, so at least she'll have some help for a while. Dan, of course, is very good. They make a good team. Extra hands help though.

Jil posted some more pictures of their anniversary trip. It certainly is a beautiful spot!

Gracie did graduate last night - Did we ever doubt it? LOL. She even had her graduation certificate. pictures and treats in a little treat bag. Her final exam had the trainer put orange cones around the perimeter of the store with certain directives for her to follow at each one. Did she pass with flying colors? Gracie was her usual undirected hyper self. We know she could do most of the things - without the distractions. At times. In her goody bag was also information for the intermediate class. No thank you.

At least with the classes we had the opportunity to practice during each week, so she could learn. I should say Paul practiced with her mostly. He deserves the credit which I willingly give.

There is hammering, hammering, hammering up on the roof this morning. The workers came this morning around 9:00. We're having a sun-tunnel tube light put in the roof/ceiling of the new upstairs bathroom. It doesn't have any natural light since there aren't any windows - so this will make it much lighter. We love ours in our kitchen in Florida. It does make a lot of difference even at night if there's a moon out. This one is in a great location since this part of the roof faces south, there'll always be sunlight. If it's sunny - of course! But even without, there'll be light.
